Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical SEO Specialist to join our growing digital team. In this role, you will be responsible for executing on-page, off-page, and technical SEO strategies to improve organic search performance. You’ll work closely with the SEO Team Lead, content creators, designers, developers, and the off-page team to implement best practices and drive measurable growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • On-Page & Technical SEO
  • Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and semantic keyword clustering to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Optimize website content, metadata, headings, internal linking, and image SEO based on semantic SEO best practices.
  • Monitor and resolve technical issues affecting SEO such as crawl errors, broken links, and page speed issues.
  • Implement structured data/schema markup where applicable.
  • Collaborate on the development and refinement of topical maps to support content planning and authority building.
  • Content Optimization
  • Work closely with the content team to ensure semantic SEO principles are followed during content creation.
  • Perform content audits and optimize existing content to improve rankings, internal linking, and topical depth.
  • Identify content gaps, suggest new topic ideas, and assist in building topical authority across key business categories.
  • Support the development of pillar pages and cluster content based on topical map strategies.
  • Analytics & Reporting
  • Track and analyze website performance using tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
  • Generate and deliver regular performance reports and insights to the SEO Team Lead.
  • Monitor keyword rankings, traffic trends, and user engagement metrics.
  • Collaboration with Off-Page Team
  • Provide link acquisition requirements including target pages, anchor texts, and domain authority guidelines.
  • Monitor the quality of acquired backlinks and ensure alignment with topical relevance and authority goals.
  • Assist in backlink audits and disavow processes when needed.
  • Ongoing SEO Maintenance
  • Stay updated with the latest search engine algorithm updates, semantic search trends, and industry best practices.
  • Continuously monitor website health and SEO performance, identifying issues and opportunities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement of topical maps and knowledge graphs for improved indexing and authority.

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of hands-on SEO experience (agency or in-house).
  • Solid understanding of SEO fundamentals including keyword research, semantic SEO, content optimization, and technical SEO.
  • Experience with SEO tools such as Google Search Console, GA4, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, etc.
  • Ability to perform detailed audits and make actionable recommendations.
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress).
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally

Preferred Qualifications

  • BBA, BSCS, or equivalent
  • Experience in off-page SEO or working with link-building teams
  • Familiarity with schema markup, Core Web Vitals, and other technical SEO elements
  • Practical experience with topical authority building, semantic SEO, and topical map creation
  • Experience in SEO for B2B and SaaS websites is a plus
