Operations Support Assistant

Heavy Duty Diesel Specialist

We’re a busy heavy-duty diesel repair shop looking for a reliable Operations Support Assistant to help keep the shop and office running smooth. This is a hands-on support role —perfect for someone who appreciates clear expectations, and a professional environment.

What You’ll Be Doing

This role supports both the shop and front office . You are not a manager, and you are not expected to “run the show.”

Daily tasks include:

• Cleaning and organizing office and shop areas
• Taking out trash, sweeping, light shop cleanup
• Stocking supplies and parts inventory upkeep
• Running errands and assisting staff as needed
• Filing paperwork and basic data entry
• Answering phones or greeting customers when needed
• Helping wherever support is required

If it needs doing and you’re trained to do it—you help.

What We’re Looking For

• Dependable and on time (non-negotiable)
• Willing to do physical and routine work
• Can follow instructions and stay busy
• Comfortable in a diesel shop environment
• Basic computer and phone skills
• No experience required (we’ll train the right person)

This is a support role , not a desk-only job.

Pay (Baton Rouge Market)

• $10–$12.50 per hour , based on:
• Reliability
• Work ethic
• Ability to stay productive
• Comfort working around a shop
• Part Time/Full-time hours actually worked
• Steady, year-round work (not seasonal)

Raises available for employees who show up, help out, stay consistent, willing to learn the business doesn't complain and understands dedication pays off.
